Colonel Dmytro Bratishko
Colonel Dmytro Bratishko was born on October 19, 1978 in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. His military career started when he joined the military high school in 1993 at the age of 15. In 2000 he graduated from the faculty of airborne troops at the Military Academy in Odessa, and was promoted to 2nd lieutenant. He began his professional military service in the 80th Airborne regiment as a platoon leader. He occupied various positions ranging from platoon commander to chief of staff of the airborne battalion. In 2002 Colonel Bratishko was deployed to Kosovo as part of a Polish - Ukrainian peacekeeping battalion named "KFOR". In 2005 he was a platoon commander in the 81st Tactical Group in the province of Wasit, Iraq as part of MND central south.
In 2009 Colonel Bratishko was assigned to the 2nd Airborne Battalion of the 80th Regiment as the Chief of Staff. In 2011 he graduated from the University of National Defence and was appointed to the 80th Airborne Regiment as the Head of air defense. In 2013 he was assigned as the Commander of the 3rd Airborne Battalion tactical group of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade. He took part in ATO in Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. Colonel Bratishko served as the Deputy Commander of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade located in Lviv, Ukraine from 2016.
He attended and successfully completed the following courses:

"Military Terminology NATO and UN Standards” (Ukraine, 2017)
Colonel Bratishko has more than 100 parachute jumps on his record.
He is married with a daughter and enjoys many sports and activities.
